Overview of HO-5 Comprehensive Form Insurance

Homeowners 5 or HO-5 comprehensive form insurance provides coverage direct physical property loss to your dwelling, other structures, and personal property. All losses are covered except for those specifically excluded in the form itself. This is much like the HO-3 form.

The main difference between the HO-5 and HO-3 forms relates to how they cover personal property. The HO-5 form covers all perils; whereas, the HO-3 only covers those perils listed in the form itself.
